The carcass is based on the ‘straight warp’ principle. Power transmission is effected through longitudinal Aramid cords. Aramid is made from heat-resistant, extremely strong synthetic fibers commonly used in aerospace and military applications including ballistic-rated body armor. On either side of the Aramid and nylon cords, there are transverse nylon cords. For particularly demanding applications it is possible to add extra transverse reinforcement without adversely affecting the belt’s longitudinal flexibility.
Suitable for use in all areas including mining, fertilizer and quarry industries.
